Vasavi is from Chennai and grew up chasing waves at Marina beach with her sweet Golden Retriever Simba. She did her masters in London and then worked with Cannes Lions - the Oscars of the Advertising world.
With over 15 years of experience in advertising, Vasavi built a strong foundation in storytelling, aesthetics, and meaningful design.
But it was motherhood that truly reshaped her creative path. When her baby was born, she chose to step away from the corporate world, embracing a slower, more intentional life. In those early days of tiny cuddles and quiet moments, ideas began to flow — leading to the birth of Design by the Bay.
Every design you see is personally conceptualised by Vasavi, with deep care and attention to detail. She loves exploring new styles, while her signature remains rooted in soft pastels, gentle textures, and a dreamy watercolor aesthetic.
For her, each creation is more than just design — it’s a way of making life’s most special moments feel even more meaningful.
